    Keyless start/stop question

For those with keyless start/stop, is there a way to shut off accessories after turning off the engine without having to actually open the door? I have read somewhere that you can push the Start/Stop button twice, but that doesn't work on my 2018. Thanks.

Not sure what accessories you're referring to but if you press and hold down the volume knob, that will power off the radio.

What I mean by this is that if I turn the engine off using the start/stop button, everything in the car is still powered if the driver's door isn't open - the fan still runs, the radio is still on, the MMI screen is still up, Virtual Cockpit is still on, etc. I think even the daytime running light is still on until I open the driver's door. I don't want to just shut down the radio, I know that volume knob will do that. Sometimes when I go pick up my wife and she hadn't come out yet, I just want to shut off the car and shut down everything and just chill in the car without worrying about draining the battery. The only way I know how to do this right now is to shut off the engine with the start/stop button, then open and shut the door so everything else will shut down. Is there a way to have the car completely turn off without having to open the driver's door?

that is weird. mine doesnt do that. when i press start/stop to shut off, everything shuts. i actally sometimes wait in my car for my son to get out of school and when i shut off the engine, i quickly press the volume button down so my radio and screen stays on. not sure if its a 2018 thing, but i would contact the dealer.

Mine works the exact same way. Like you, I've found the only way to get everything to actually turn off is to open the door. I've got my radar detector tapped into my rear view mirror and when I cut the engine off using the start/stop button, the radar detector powers off but the radio remains on.

I have the opposite issue. I have a '15 A3 P+. When I turn off the engine with the start/stop button, everything shuts off including the radio. Often I park and want to listen to the radio for a few minutes first but don't want to idle the engine the entire time. So I have to shut everything down, and turn just the radio back on, causing the screen to flip in then out again.
