    Well, the "low oil pressure" is definitely a common issue.
    But very few of us actually got to the root cause of it.
    I might take my old engine apart to see if the same thing was causing my issue.

    OP, was there any noise? Or any other tell tales that the balance shaft was busted?

    This one ran fine only complaint was at traffic lights and idle the light come one. The shafts will seize sometimes and will jump timing.

    Installed two new balance shafts new chains new guides tensioner and cam bridge new oil new filter fired her up no more low oil message or light gauge reads 32psi idle
