Bunch of enablers in here!
My wife and I had decided it was time to get rid of my 330ci, since a coupe isn't very practical now that we have a son. I had initially been thinking about a 2012 Avant, but when I posted about that, a number of responses revolved around the oil consumption issue and "Get an Allroad!". Admittedly, when I read that first post, I was a bit newb on Avant vs Allroad. I did the research, and damn if I didn't fall in love with the Allroad! My wife was kinda meh about it either way, she's not much of a car person. She's more of a motorcycle person (probably why I married her - we have 5). Well, let me rephrase. She was meh about it until I found an Allroad in Scuba Blue! Holycrap that's a beautiful color.
So, after barely missing out on a 2012 I had been looking at for two weeks, having it sold 14 hours before I was to go see it, and sorta reallllllllllly wanting an Allroad, I decided to punt and just get what I really wanted. So, incoming is a 2014 Allroad, Premium Plus package with Nav, in Scuba Blue and black leather.
All things going well, paperwork will be finalized and we'll be bringing it home tomorrow. And since things don't exist without pictures, here's a photo from the dealer. I'll post more once I get it home!
