    So I've had my current RS4 for 7,000 km's. Had an oil change done 5,000 km's ago and am happy to report I have yet to add any oil and its still completely full. I'm running motul 5W40 like I did on my previous RS4. I used to use probably 1L between oil changes on my last car (7K OIC). I know most of these cars use a bit of oil but does anyone else not use any oil between changes? My car currently has 90,000km's (55,000 miles).

    How accurate was your meassurement on the dipstick when you changed the oil and now after 7k km?

    Namely the dipstick when reading from Max. - Min. is a capacity of cca. 2.5L.
    Example: You could fill just above the middle line 1/2 towards Max. indicator. Burn 1L. And still be 1/2 above Min.

    Oil level was at the top of the metal part of the dipstick 5,000 km's ago and is still there now!

    I find if I have used Motul I will need to throw in 1L between oil changes but on Total or Liqui Moly my experience has been all good between changes and no need to add. It's strange I know, but just my observations in a closed testing lab that is my everyday driving life.
