    Hey guys,

I have an 3.0L B6. Anyone know where the oil pressure switch is located?

    Thanks,
    Alex

Theres two different sensors that I think people commonly confuse. One is the oil level sender unit. That part is bolted right to the bottom of the oil pan. The oil pressure switch I am not sure.

Yeah. The pressure sensor bolted to the bottom of the oil pan. I think I found the oil pressure switch. It is on top of the oil cooler. No idea how to remove it, though. I'm assuming I'll have to take the oil cooler off? Can anyone share insight?

I just replaced mine 2 weeks ago. Its right next to the oil filter and near the air condition compressor. I was getting low pressure warning before I replaced it. You don't have to but I put her in 50% service position to make more room to work.

I’m having trouble removing the wiring harness. Any tips? You didn’t take off the oil cooler, did you? And, what’s 50% service position?

I have poker - puller tool from my grandpa I use to disconnect the plastic harness. I pulled the front clip off but didn't disconnect the radiator and held it in the air with a floor jack to make more room. Yes I removed the power steering cooler line. I really cant stand that part. Always makes a huge mess..
