Wind Screen Choices/Question

I am in the process of replacing my wind deflector, as my car did not come with it originally.

Would it be wiser just to wait on ebay for OEM or possibly get the one listen below?

Has anyone tried this wind deflector?

Do you have to take the OEM windscreen off every time you close the top? I just bought my Cabriolet last week, still learning the ins and outs of it. Have not driven it top-down on the highway yet,

Nope! I leave my up/on all the time. It is actually pretty great with it up since it adds a layer of tint almost.

For passengers yes, but you can put objects underneath the windscreen. The front part of the windscreen can be put down too, so you can see out the rear window.

Yes the OEM can be left and in place . It folds down while in place for clear visibility out of the rear window. It also folds in half so it fits in the trunk. There is an OEM bag for it

Mine broke and I had to get another. Watching ebay, generally they go for about 100 +/-. If you look on ebay I had to do searches under multiple terms as people called it a deflector blocker and the part number a5/s5/rs5 2009-2016 will fit.

Post a wanted ad in the classified here and the other audi forums

$150, the seller found one at a garage sale and didn’t know how much it was worth. Just takes some time to find, but they should be around $100-150.
