Howdy. My maf sensor died on me on my way home yesterday. I was able to un-plug it and putter on home with no boost, but now I'm left with a car I don't really want to put any more money into, that doesn't work. Figured before I buy a brand new sensor, I would ask on here if anybody has a used one in working order they wouldn't mind letting me purchase.

I am currently in the delayed entry program for the Marine Corps, I'll be shipping to boot camp in around 4 months, so I won't be driving for long anyways haha.
Doesn't matter to me if it has >50k miles on it, as long as it will last me 4 months i'll take it!

    Thanks, -Gareth

If you unplugged it and still had to putter home. Then I would think you have a boost leak and not a bad MAF. Should drive like normal for the most part with it unplugged.

By putter I just meant it felt slow compared to with the maf plugged in. It drove fine, just couldn't feel any boost.
Before I un-plugged, the rpm was bouncing, and when i built boost anywhere over 2.5k rmp, it would kind of die on me. Un-plugged it drove completely normal, except slow.

Im hoping theres no boost problem, replacing maf seems like a good place to start.
