The time has come to sell my RS4 as I just got a new M3. If I didn’t come across the M car and get the deal I did on it, I would certainly be keeping the RS4. I may regret it but for now I am selling the car, so I’m putting it up here before I try other outlets.
Model: 2007 Audi RS4
Color: Mugello blue with Silver interior
Mileage: 104,400
Location: Pittsburgh, PA or New Jersey/Jersey City
Price: $21,500 or best offer
I got this car with ~84k miles on it and have owned it for a little over two years. I believe I am the third owner and I have service records from my ownership. Clean CarFax with no accidents and currently registered with title in my name. This was originally a US car that was imported to Canada that I then imported back in to the US. This is a driver quality car and I was daily driving it. The car is in good shape overall but has signs of being a 100k+ mile car. The paint could use some refreshing as there is some scratches around the car and rock chips on the front. The silver interior, like all the silver interiors in these cars, does look pretty worn on the driver seat and center arm rest. The rest of the seats are in pretty good shape though. It also has the rubber Audi sport mats. Overall I’d give the cosmetics a 6/10 or so.
The car is stock except for an Bilstein Sports, JHM oil cooler lines, and 034 flap linkage arms. I have taken care of a lot of major issues with the car as listed below:
Good stuff: I keep up to date with most things and fix them as they break. Everything is working on the car and it’s in good mechanical shape with no error codes or CELs.
Tires are Michelin all seasons and have plenty of tread on them (I also have Blizzak snow tires and wheels I can sell separately)
DRC has been replaced with Bilstein Sports
Carbon cleaning was just done in December at 103k miles. Oil and filter change was also done at this time. Car idles and runs smoothly should be good for 15-20k miles.
The following was done when I got the car at 84-85k miles:
Brakes
All four front Upper Control arms
Carbon Cleaning
New spark plugs
Air Filter
Crankcase vent line
Purge valve/non return valve
New Ignition Coils
New Fuel Injectors
New Throttle Body Gasket
New Fuel Filter
New Intake Manifold gaskets
Cleaned MAF and throttle body
During my ownership, I’ve also done the following:
Oil cooler lines were replaced with JHM lines
Oil cooler was replaced as well
New HP Fuel Pump
New oil level sensor
New PCV
New Intake manifold flap sensors/potentiometers
Replaced flap linkage arms with 034 metal ones
New Cabin Filter
Added AUX input jack
Replaced bluetooth module
Replaced front plate bracket with front plate filler
Random things here and there, alignments, TPMS sensors, etc.
Worse stuff: I’ve tried to reflect the cost of these things in my asking price
The car is on the original clutch and flywheel still so it’s definitely going to be due at some point soon. Works fine for now.
I believe the motor/trans/diff mounts and torque mount are original as well so if you want the car to feel really tight again I would change these
The front underbody plastic is missing and has been since I bought the car. Hasn’t been a problem for me
Like I said, the paint could use some love and the driver seat could use a re-covering if you care about having everything look fresh. This car was my daily driver.
Thanks for looking!
