Newbie: few questions on S4

So I need 4 doors soon. My choices are 2015-2016 S4 (probably Prestige), maybe 2012+ ISF, or I was also considering 2015 Macan S

I am guessing ISF would be much more reliable in the long run, I did read that B8.5s are pretty reliable too....but still. 2015 Macan is the first year of production so I am not sure if I feel comfortable there, not sure if I need Porsche, maybe I am just looking at the badge....not sure myself.

Anyway, what do you think on that? And what are the year changes from 2015 to 2016? I think I read that Prestige has an option of Dynamic Steering rack that's supposably from RS5, am I correct on that? And anyone with close or over 100k miles on tuned S4s...any issues there?

I can provide some feedback on the over 100k tuned s4 part. I'm at 130k right now on a stage 2 EPL tune. Engine is as strong as it always been. I've had the tune since about 115k so I've put some miles on it and haven't noticed any differences as far as realibility.

I'm approaching 90k on stage 1. Been faultless however I am starting to get timing chain rattle on cold starts only

We are active with new discussions. "Newbie" posts on a forum for a 10 year old platform don't get a lot of response. However, new owners who come with specific questions that can't easily be searched generally get excellent feedback.

Yeah, but 9 of those pages would people bashing the other choices the OP listed (that weren't a BMW).

I'd like to hear criticism too! That's usually the Lexus forum though..... everything is unreliable pile of junk compared to Lexus members :)

PS. I was looking at B9 as well but not sure if it's worth the price over B8.5. I like both I guess.
