    Audi Dealership Service Cost Question

Hi everyone. I'm new, so please go easy on my first post! :-) This is my first Audi, purchased 3 months ago. 2013 A4, 44,000 miles.
I had the check engine light come on a Thursday evening. I set up an appt for Friday morning at the local Audi dealer. They said my cylinder was misfiring. So they replaced the ignition coil on cylinder 1 and all the spark plugs. (Don't get me started on the crazy charge to just read the error codes....)
Anyway, I drive it home Friday evening. It sits all weekend and when I go to start it up Monday morning, check engine light comes on again. EPC briefly too. So I set up another appt and drive it in. ~10 miles.
After a few hours, they say they cannot figure out the mis fire issue and need to open a TAC. Fast forward to the end of the week, and they replaced the fuel injectors and some other stuff..... somehow this was under some Audi extended warranty.... only a $85 deductible.

I can post more details if needed.... but my question to the group is.... it looks like (based on the odometer readings on the first invoice), there was no test drive by the dealership after the ignition coil was replaced.... maybe my Monday morning issue could have been found then. So, if all of this work was performed on the same day... would it all have been under warranty? Is there some way to challenge the first invoice and receive a refund or partial credit?
This is all new to me, in my 20 years of owning cars... I've been extremely lucky, only needing the routine/mundane maintenance items performed on my other cars.

    Hello,

This is certainly not the experience that we would like you to have, especially with this being to your introduction to our brand! If possible, I would like to gather some additional information and perform some research into this matter. Do you mind sending me a PM with the following information?

    VIN
    Current Mileage
Name of Dealer & personnel at dealer that you interacted with
Email Address or Preferred method of contact

I may also need to look at the copies of the repair orders if possible, but we can start with the above information. I look forward to hearing back from you!

    Kind regards,
    Vincenzo F.
