    hi when i got this for my a3 i used the stock one that was already on the car. made the swap even simpler.

    Hi mine was a pre-facelift 2016, was simple swap with no coding required. I havent researched the facelift models even though I have one now. I would ask Alex over at Europrice, he sells a ton of steering wheels and is knowledgable about whether coding is needed or not.

    Looks like in a thread you started a fellow member said it was a direct swap total plug and play on his 2017 A3 no coding required
