Just picked up my new toy coming from a VW MK6 GTI. 2018 Daytona Grey w/ Tech Package. Like everyone, I had the MOD BUG in my GTI. This time as I get older I think I'm laying off for now at least for the time being. The only things I've done is tint the windows and a courtesy door projector lights with an S3 logo.

As much as I'm not a fan of wheel gap, don't think I have plans to mess with the suspension. Here's my question, Would it look good to flush the wheels without lowering the car? What are your thoughts??

Yes. I think my car looks great with 10mm/17.5mm f/r spacers on stock springs.

If you simply want to flush out the look of the wheels, why not? It's a cheap mod and requires 30mins of your time. Just make sure to purchase hub eccentric spacers with the appropriate length lug bolts.

Yes, coming from a VW I assumed they have the same hub centric spacers. Thanks!

Silly question! Stock wheels always look better with spacers to flush em out. I even put them on the R8, and those look pretty darn good stock.

I put the ECS GTI flush kit on mine (15/20) and looks perfect to me. Just haven't taken pics yet.....

Second the ECS kit - made all the difference in my S3. It's not as dramatic as lowering or new wheels, but it makes me happy when I look at it.

And when I see an s3/a3 that doesn't have it, something just doesn't look right to me - wheels under the car..

Here is my before and after. Forgive the dirty car - the car wash was all the way across the street... it was just too far that day.

With my simple floor jack and using the factory lug wrench (I was moving - tools packed), it was less that 45 minutes. Including pictures and a "fatass break."

    Definitely worth the $.
