Went to the meet to get the scoop. STI's out there with a giant hood scoop.

A car pulls up, who can it be? a fresh A4 rolling Boost stage 3.

He rolls down his window and he started to say:

That meme is even more relevant when you pass what is clearly an A4, with S4 badges slapped all over it.

Just yesterday there was an A4 trying to zip through heavy highway traffic and revving his engine all over the place. He toned it WAY down after I slowly passed by him after he got stuck in the slow moving right lane on the highway. He moved behind me but stayed a good distance back, remained quiet, and stopped trying to cut in and out of lanes.

Don't get me wrong, I have absolutely nothing wrong with A4's. But blatantly pretending to be something you're not, and making the rest of us look bad in the process is simply not something I can get behind.

too late. My motorcycle friends told me Audi drivers are now thought of by a lot of bikers as the new BMW drivers as far as being aholes on the road. Of course, my theory is that many former BMW owners have switched to Audi so its the same drivers.

Had a similar experience with an A4 Avant. Clearly an A4 but was badged like an S4, complete with a V6 badge on the front quarter (yes, it was missing the T!). He received a sideways look as I rolled on by.

What? I don’t think anyone ever pulls up to a light and looks across at the other intersection like “that Audi WITHOUT the RS4 emblem on the grille is trying to be something he’s not.” But going back to the OP, I live in Houston and work around Westheimer Rd, the busiest highway in the city. I have yet to see a single A4 posing as an S4. However, I can attest that BMW drivers are, for the most part, assholes/ricers. Especially the non M cars with stickers, painted stock wheels & muffler deletes.

Heck, I’ve got a coworker that drives an F30 328i Dinan Stage 3. I can tell he’s modded too cause I see the Dinan logo on his intercooler. He’s always been ranting about how he’ll beat this and that. Just a few days ago, he tried calling me out saying he just got new P4S’s and how they grip! Keep in mind, I have stage 2 on my car and I rarely talk about it to avoid the fanboy talks. As we leave from work that day, he calls me out in front of others saying he would walk me from a roll. Little did he know what’s been done to my car since I keep it simple and nothing flashy. I offered him a roll race and let’s just say that after the run, he hasn’t spoken to me lol. I hope he learned his lesson.
