got audi a4 b6 2.0 ALT
suddenly got EPC light and wont accelerate turned off removed the battery cables then put them back same thing EPC light on rough idle wont accelerate i got obd scanner checked for trouble codes found Throttle Valve Control part (J338)Fault in basic settings i tried to adapt with the vag obd tool it shows error at adaption process and set new trouble code throttle valve control malfunctions trouble code wont clear out so what i did to clear the codes i pushed the throttle plate opened with my fingers and tried start the car the EPC light off but rough idle now can clear the codes i the adapt runs ok car runs fine but it could happen any time so i had to repeat same steps to get it adapt help any one
