    Yea ive noticed the same thing also. The weird thing is my car is stock with 36k miles and it happens. I hate it. Im worried it will get worse when i go stage 2 this summer.

    It actually doesn't get worse, and I've noticed that it only happens on WOT.

    Mine did it when it was stock too and that was 20k miles ago. You'll be okay at stage 2, promise.

    Why the hell does it happen. A 63 thousand dollar cars dual clutch should shift with perfection. Biggest complaint with this car.

    Mine sometimes shifts and it feels like hitting a brick wall. I'm not 100% sure if it's all TCU. It often feels like car is cutting out fuel/power completely. Other times it feels like the clutches are slipping and it doesn't engage right away.

    Yea im thinking about going with APRs ECU and TCU. Hoping the tune helps. I cant stand it.

    my apr trans tune does not do that , im stage 2 + with apr tcu tune
    2015 daytona grey S4 -nappa leather - alum optics - carbon atlas trim - APR stage 2 ecu and tcu tune apr charger pulley jhm 187mm crank pulley-apr cps - 034 trans and diff mounts - VMR 801 19x9.5 - luft carbon intake - ecs 2 piece rotors -macan calipers-red stuff-034 brace -h&r oe springs - bilstien sport shocks -cr-15-ledfogs-ecs rear carbon diffuser-ecs front carbon lip -rs4 steering wheel -rs4 shifter -jhm v2 test pipes- custom hfc downpipes with magnaflow x-pipe resonator -corsa exhaust

    yep i think that is it , i know from a recent apr training session that the apr stage 2 tune is set to give less power if the tcu is not tuned with it . most likely for that reason

    Stock means your mech unit or gear selector sensors are on it's way out. Lol

    I read a thread with ARP a while back that they were having issues with this on stage 2 and TCU tunes. They said the fix was that they shift pressure needed to be adjusted/fixed in the TCU tune. The increased torque and insufficient clutch plate pressure caused a slight slip. If my memory serves correctly. They claimed it would not cause any issues and they eventually got it fixed.

    Im noticing it with a stock s4. No way is traction an issue but true its something to think about.
