Northern New England/Maine shop

Hi everyone.

I am looking for shop recommendations, preferably Maine but NH and VT are not out of the equation, that allows for customer sourced parts and have experience with aftermarket stuff. I have been to Autowerkes in Freeport before and they were great, just hoping to find someone who is cheaper than their $110/hr.

I have used Das Auto in Portsmouth Nh. Greats guys and happy with work so far. They did my APR stage 1 ECU ,TCU tune. I have an apt a grille swap. Also no tax a plus

I have used Anthony at Status Auto in Exeter for years with my B5S4. They were located in Londonderry now Exeter.

I would recommend E2 Auto in Windham ME. John Pastore knows his stuff and is very fair when it comes to working on later models. When I lived in Portland that is where would I would bring my S4.

I used Speedlife motorsport in Haverhill Ma this week for my APR stage II both supercharger and crank pulley as well as APR CPS installed. Nothing but great things to say about Jason and crew. All very friendly and knowledgable. Without a doubt you will be happy there.

Auto Engineering in Lexington MA if you want the best. It's a hike for you though....

I can attest for both Speed Life Motorsports and Auto Engineering in Lexington. Jason at Speed Life has been great, Rick at Auto Engineering is a stand up guy and knows his stuff. Both will leave you with a grin from ear to ear.

Cory Sterling at The VW Garage in Gorham does all the work on my B8 A4 and T4 Eurovan. Great guy, fair pricing, 20+ years experience.

Just had Cory do some work for me, was a quick and easy process. Definitely recommend.

Editing to add that I ended up spending some time with Cory today in his shop and he proved to me through that experience that I won’t be looking anywhere else for any future work. He is awesome.
