    Bulb or Ballast Busted?

So just this morning I noticed my drivers side headlight bulb out (passenger side works fine). What's weird is both the bulbs and ballasts are all brand new as of April of last year. Also when the car first starts up, the main beam sort of pulsates a few times then fades out (to off). I also am getting no bulb out errors etc. and the rest of my headlights bulbs work fine. When I get home I am gonna use the working sides bulb/ballast to pinpoint the issue, but was wondering if someone else had this happen and knew which part was the culprit.

Just double check all your connections 1st. May not be a bad idea to unplug, hit the inner connecting points with some electronic duster and reconnect.
If that doesn’t do the trick, hook up your Ross Tech VAG cable and run a scan to check for possible errors.

Exactly what I am gonna do! Check all the connections and if that doesn't fix it use the working bulb/ballast from the other side to test one at a time. I am hoping something is just loose

**Update** After a Vagcom scan and testing both the bulb/ballast the bulb was blown. Good thing is the eBay vendor I bought them from has a 2yr warranty
