So my car is about to go under the knife next week for a gear selector sensor and mechatronic repair. With the parts and labour I am looking at around 3800 Canadian as the transmission has to be removed and sent to Audi to be disassembled to replace the gear selector and all the parts that go along with the 14 hour repair.
An opportunity to pick up a B8.5 dsg transmission from a 2013 S4 with 65k kms has come up for a very reasonable price. I can even get the TCU.
I need to know if anyone has successfully done this swap and what's involved.
Need to decide relatively quick.
Thanks
