    Releasing parking brake

    I’ve searched but can’t find.

    Has anyone successfully turned off the “applying foot pedal brake” to disengage the parking brake?

    I’m DSG

    You didn't look in the VCDS mods thread, that's where it's hidden. You can enable it through there.

    If you have the Carista app, it has the option to disengage the parking brake without using the brake pedal
    Current: 2024 SQ7, 2021 RS5

    Thats strange cause that's where I did mine. I have VCDS too but I didn't change it from there.

    As long as your seatbelt is clicked, no need to press the brake to disengage the parking brake. Hell, you don't even have to disengage it, just take off!

    I actually used the Carista to disable the seat belt for that annoying chime!! Lol
