Hello everyone! I have been reading so much on these forums and this is a great community! With that being said I need some input on something I have been thinking about. I drive a 2014 S4 DSG and it has 45K miles on it bought it at 40K. I just had a new transmission put into it a week after I got it under warranty thank god! There is currently 5 months left on my warranty. So my question is what is more logical to do? Go for a APR stage 1 tune or straight to stage 2? I am currently 18 and have the money for the Stage 1 but not for the stage 2 with the DSG tune as well. I could easily save the money within a month or so for the Stage 2 with DSG but is it worth it? I have seen many threads about Stage 1 vs Stage 2 and that many people have gone right to stage 2 and not regretting it. However I would just like some direct input from others. Please don't batter me as this is my first post and would just like some help from the community since this is my first Audi and I am sure there are experts in here!

I would save money for college and having your own place to stay first, that would be the smart move. But if you are gonna spend money, go straight to stage 2. No reason to go to stage 1 first, you're just going to want more.

Thank you I appreciate the input! I have everything set already with college and living after high school, this is extra spending money and I wanted to get something for myself!

Haha I am really appreciative that I own this car at such a young age, thank you and you should've heard my parents! I settled for this because they wouldn't let me buy a M3 for myself. So any input on what I should go for?

My recommendation is ride out the last 5 months of warranty just in case and really get to know and enjoy the car then start modifying. Stage 2 has plenty of power and if your budget allows I say skip straight to it.
