    Coilovers under $1000

So I currently have a set of ST X and they’ve served me well but just one Michigan winter and they have frozen. I tore one apart, soaked it and still wasn’t able to budge it.
I was gonna just get another set but thought I’d see what others may suggest. Yes, I’ve done some research and have read many reviews why what someone has is the best and everything else is ten ply.
ST’s are all I’ve had so I have nothing to compare to.
One set that stood out to me are Vogtland GT3’s.

So has anyone had ass time with both or more? Any thoughts, input or advice, good or bad is welcomed

    Thanks

BC Racing. Adjustable spring pre-load and 30-way strut damping adjustment on all 4 corners. Also can be ordered with custom spring rates if desired. The fronts on our cars come pre-assembled with their own top-hat so you literally just have to unbolt the existing/OEM strut assembly and install BC's. No need to swap over the top hat or the strut bushing.

I second the BC racing option.

I have a set on my mk7 gti with a custom 14k/12k front rear spring rate and they work amazing. Strut bodies turn to adjust height allowing you to keep tension on the spring. If My H&R coilovers ever go in my s4 I will certianly be ordering a set of bc’s

    Thanks,

    Alex.

    Coilovers under $1000

BC’s are great coilovers, had them on a WRX. For German cars I have always stuck with H&R’s (more money) but closest ride to oem quality, never had an issue and I live in the northeast.

I ran the gt3’s for years. You pair them with the 034 read sway bar and you’ll enjoy the car a lot more. They won’t handle like v3’s or Ohlins but a decent
set with good spring rates at a decent price.

I've been running Solo Werks for almost a year now. OEM+ like ride quality. In my opinion perfect for daily drivers.
