02 S6 Driver side bank not firing

Im working on a 2002 S6 which came to me not running. Replaced the Passenger side head due to bent valves and she fired up but running very rough. Im getting misfire codes on the Driver side bank and doesn't seem to be getting ignition and fuel. The codes I'm getting are: P0300, 308, 208, 205, 206, 207, 306, 305....Pretty much the entire driver side bank. EPC light is also on.
I could really use your advice. TIA!

Ignition control modules? Forget to plug one in? Or if plugged in, swap them to see what happens

It's to the point where all the problems just run together in a spider web of disappointment and mush.

S6 doesn't have ICM's. I would definitely check the igniton coil wiring harness on that side to start. Also I would verify the timing is correct on that bank. Couple things worth checking out.

    Thanks everybody!
Would a bad cam sensor on the passenger side cause this kind of problem?
Would a bad chain tensioner cause this kind of problem?

Not really. You can unplug the cam sensor AND chain tensioner and it'll still run. Misfires on one whole bank has to be timing. Not sure what to say about apparent fuel/ spark missing though? It's not easy but is it possible ONE coil pack is bad and one coil connection is reversed?
Without getting to go over it in person ...it's either going to be something simple or physical timing...

I checked compression on driver side and all cylinders are in good condition. Still getting DTC codes P0205- P0208 , P0300 and P0305-308. Cam timing is also good.

Did you look up the error codes? Are we doing that for you? You sound like you've got decent enough grasp on the engine- seeing as how you replaced one cylinder head already and got it together and running.
So...have you checked fuel supply to that bank? If it's not getting fuel it will misfire.
If you took a minute to look up the errors maybe you'd have a better clue? You posted this a few days ago and haven't reported that you've done any troubleshooting related to the actual errors. *MISFIRE* is a very vague error, so you basically move past that and make a list of things in common with 4 cylinder run by one driven camshaft. Spark? not as much likely, because each cylinder has an independent coil. Fuel? Maybe? The entire bank is fed by one fuel rail and the WHOLE bank is misfiring.

For instance P0208 is an electrical problem with the injector. How much more obvious can it get? Lack of fuel will cause a misfire error. One causes the other.

Sorry, not trying to be harsh...but ...?

This is my first experience with Audi after 20 years of not owning one. My last one before this had CIS fuel injection. I was using what I had which was a cheap $20.00 scanner so what I did was buy a vag com knock off from amazon and it helped me tremendously in diagnosing the problem. Checked compression and all cylinders looked good. Apparently, all the injector plugs on the driver side were loose. I was just not familiar with how tight they had to be. She runs good now!
    Thanks everybody for the help!
