B7 A4 radiator

I recently discovered my radiator end tanks on my 06 A4 are cracked and leaking and have ZERO coolant in the car, im wondering if removal is the same as older generations such as the B6 1.8 or if its much different at all? also I've seen from B6 rad replacements that you lose some trans oil, is this the same for B7?
