Hi there, has anyone changed the alternator on their V10 S6 / RS6. One bering has gone south in my alternator, and I wonder if I need to take the front off the car to get to the alternator....

I do believe the front end needs be in service position, not necessarily removed.

    S6 / RS6 Alternator

Bumper cover has to come off and front end out into service position to allow space to work.
