    Bouncing off rev limiter

Very randomly I'm about to overtake a crawler on the highway and instinctive I hit the gas pedal twice "force kick down" and I held the down shift paddle on the steering wheel which also drops it down. Not sure if the ECU said "yo wtf do you want from me" but it bounced off the Rev limiter for like 2 seconds (sounded so damn nice and heard crazy pops which I can't no longer replicate the duration). Has anyone here have had this happen to them? When this thing grabbed the gear it just took off. For that split moment it did not by any means feel like a 354hp car. Felt more like 450, Might be the surprise factor of it which I've considered. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

you just need to completely floor it, it will give full power as fast as possible. I guess it was fun confusing it and bouncing off the limiter tho.

Yeah the rev limiter part was super fun, Ive been flooring this baby since I hit 3k March of last year but this time the sensation was different. Even from the usual kick down to lowest gear, Hard to explain or able to understand unless it's experienced. All in all, Super fun.

happened in the wifie's old mb c350, it didn't want to shift going over 100 at wot, it bounced off the limiter about 4 times before finally shifting. it was almost due for trans service, so I guess that might of been why, never did it before. sounded bad ass though. happened right when I was passing a crawler too. they probably were like "wtf". we should be able to do that on demand.
