Compatibility with D box ECU? - (No post cat O2 sensors, etc.)

Hello all,

I'm new here, but been active in reading threads.

Do any of you tech experts know the compatibility of the A box ECU with the D box (I have the european S4 B5, AGB engine code. MY2000, manual)?

According to the info I´ve found, it should be the same, but it helps if one could confirm that:)

I was told by a source that he D box replaced the A box, so it should be compatible.
Both have Bosch MAF, F-hose, no ESP. One concern is that the D box has no post-Cat O2 sensors but I´m not certain with the A box?

Ive found that the info on s4wiki on ECUs is rather accurate. Who cares about post cat o2 sensors!? They should be coded out anyways!

Yeah, I´m just considering having a cheap spare stock unit (that gives no errors).
