    Autotech HPFP installed with bad results...

    I recently had the Autotech HPFP upgrade installed and logs are showing 20,000+ less actual rail fuel pressure then stock. Anyone else running this and have better luck?

    It must clearly be defective or been installed wrong. Never heard anyone with this issue before.

    Sorry to reply with another question, but what is an average max fuel rail pressure at WOT at 6800 or 7200 rpm for a stock fuel pump setup?

    I'm not sure but I also have GIAC LPFP upgrade.

    Is there a way to instal this wrong? Seems pretty straight forward. I would love to see logs of others running this setup to compare, anyone?

    I’m seeing 136000-138000 hPa on 30%-ish ethanol blend. I just have the autotech upgrade, no LPFP upgrade.

    I swear Lou posted that there was an issue with the return flow not being able to keep up on - so the pump would suck the bucket dry - and then fuel pressure would drop - Fix was a small add on pump (IIRC)....

    I tried searching - but had no luck - You may want to PM Lou for specifics?

    I believe somebody else had a similar issue a couple years back and it was also the Autotech HPFP upgrade. 99% sure it was Grumpy and after Autotech sent him a new one, all was good.

    Hofame has a similar issue and now I have his auto tech. 🤪

    Before the pump I was seeing 117,000 hpa, after I am seeing 95,000

    Thanks, I was hoping to hear what it was supposed to be at. Mine dropped from 117,000 to 95,000 with Autotech added.

    If you’re seeing max of 95 hPa at any given time (i.e., not higher initial pressures at WOT then pressure dropping later in that same WOT pull), then I don’t think that is indicative of the issue of the fuel bucket running out...

    Without the Autotech HPFP at WOT in 4th gear I was seeing requested at 122000 and actual at 117000, now with the new HPFP I am seeing same requested and 95000, I have a track event coming up in a couple weeks and need to get this sorted so I don't lean out on track and blow the motor.

    No codes but I got it installed, drove it home and did some logs to make sure it was worth the $400 lol. The weird part is the car feels faster but that could be because its going lean. Cars are always fastest right before they blow up haha

    I did a pull at WOT in second gear earlier today and got got a reading of approx 146000 hPa at around 7100-7200 rpm. Running E30 currently.
