I am looking at purchasing a CPO 2015 Glacier White A6 Prestige for my wife. It has the Black Optics, Sport Pack, 20" Rotor Wheels, and a few other nice options.

The one that blows my mind, and the one I am seeking information on, is... 5900.00 list for a Bang Olufsen stereo option!

    What the heck is this?

The car is in route to dealer, so I have not put my eyes and ears on it yet...

    Any info is appreciated!

    Thanks in advance....

What kind of info? It's a great system for stock audio upgrade package IMO. My car came with it fortunately as I think I'd have a hard time paying up for it on an order.

I am looking for any info... what is it... what is included... more amps... speakers... screen... I just can't imagine a 5900.00 stereo upgrade...

The B/O systems in my SQ5 and my S5 are more than adequate...

I have tried the google search, but came up empty, probably because I don't know what to look for...

I had it in my S6 and it was amazing- just got an S7 w/o it and really miss it. Then again I’m a boarder line audiophile.

Overall the B&O has better mids and highs- much more space in the sound. Bass can lack a bit - I upgraded my sub for better balance.

    Worth it IMO.

And Bassler... I see you have made a few mods to your S6. How "improved" a ride with the sways and links? Any pictures of your car, as it seems to be very similar to what I am waiting to see.

I have the B&O in my A7.. It's a very nice find when you can get it on a used car, as I would not have ordered it new. The sound can be great, all depending on the source you're playing of course.
It's def got the wow factor with the electronic pop-up tweeters that rise from the dash.

    Good luck!

Thank you... likewise, I would not order it, but will gladly take it as it does not seem to have any bearing on the purchase price.

    Appreciate the info...

Massive handling improvement with sways, endlinks and Alu Kreuz. Very much worth doing. Next up is a density line control arm kit.

Various pics attached. Looking for anything specific?

Those are fine... thank you for the sway bar info... did not think of doing the Alu Kreuz upgrade... another mod dollar just flew out the window!

    And your car looks great!

The B&O option has better tweeters (which raise and are directed into the cabin rather than just up at the windshield), better sound processing and better amplifier and sub than either the stock or Bose options, but the subwoofer is still very timid. The best system available through Audi without going aftermarket, but likely not worth the ~$6k option to most folks. Congrats on not taking the hit on that one.

Also, the Eurocode sway bars and end-links do add an immediate noticeable impact on handling improvement. The AK adds minimal to no additional improvement, in my opinion, and for a few others on here. I added the AK several weeks after the sway bars and end-links (AK was on back order at the time). I loved the handling improvement when I added the sway bars and end-links- I couldn't personally notice any additional improvement in handling once I added the AK. You can likely spend mod dollars elsewhere for better bang-for-buck.

Hard to disagree with this. I put everything on at the same time so i can't say i had the same experience but just the nature of what the AK does vs what sways/endlinks do from a handling perspective would lead to the conclusion that there is a much better cost/benefit to the latter. The AK is a vanity piece really.

You should do the tranny/diff inserts over the AK for sure.
