Help me pull the trigger or wait - 2014 S4 Technik - Canada

Hi all, about to buy my first car after driving a work pickup truck for the past few years. I've been shopping around for the past 2 months and this is the best one I've found so far, would like thoughts/feedback.

    Audi CPO
    2014 S4 S Tronic Technik - $39'990 (CAD)
    - 37'500km -> 23'000 miles
    - Warranty till Jun 2020/160'000km
    - Monsoon Grey
    - Black Interior
    - Audi Quattro Sports Differential
    - Titanium Package (Black Optics, Carbon Inlays, Titanium Rotary Wheels)
    - Adaptive Damping Suspension
    - Dynamic Steering
    - It comes with two sets of rims with winter tires (picture of winter tires and rim) and brand new summers.
    - 1 Previous owner, bought and serviced and the same dealership.
    - Clean CarProof/Carfax
    - Has several rock chips on the hood
    - A few scratches on the black glossy panels between the doors.
    - Body scratches should get buffed out according to dealer.

My requirements were 2014-2015, under 75km, under $40k, sports diff and a B&O sound system.
This exceeds my requirements by having the dynamic steering and adaptive damping suspension (I've tried to read through the forums to see if these are problematic features, I've only been able to find that repairs will be more expensive, but the likelyhood of failure are about the same compared to normal steer and normal suspension, please correct me if this isn't the case).

Personally, I think its a bit pricey for a 2014, but I have less than a month to find a vehicle before I lose my work truck.

    Questions:
    1. Do you think the low Km/Miles is a concern given this is a 2014? (I know low mileage is good, but very low can be a concern that it was sitting and not driven much)
    2. Dealer mentioned that the "ECU was re-flashed 2 times" - unsure what this is, if anyone could shed some light? -> EDIT: Asked dealer, this ECU flash was done at the dealership for Airbags and an Update -> still waiting for a detailed service record. I saw a basic service record and everything checks out for that.

My car is identical to yours, but I got the 2014 with 11k miles 1 year ago for 40 flat, I would say you should be able to get that down to 36,37, or at least 38.
Bought mine Just outside of the Bronx in New York.
No concern on low mileage, just make sure you see some sort or maintenance records. The oil should have been changed three times by now, if it hasn't been, then there is some slight cause for concern.
I'm in the military so my car sits for 3-4 months at a time. Don't think its an issue. The ECU re-flash could have been for updates? I would just make sure you have all your warranty paperwork setup if you don't plan on tuning/modding the car yourself, I can see a dealer pulling some bullshit to void your warranty, but if you have the documentation no worries. Test drive it, and if it feels good go for it.

Seems like a pretty good deal to me considering that's only about $31k USD. I bought a prestige model at 27k miles 3 years ago for $39999.

You should be able to negotiate $1-2k off that price for your car. I have never understood auto transmissions in cars but whatever floats your boat. My father has a DSG S4 and though it's good, you should really try a 6MT. I've driven Porsche 911 Turbos Ferrari 360, 458's etc with slushboxes and they are just boring down the road (at least to me). Also the Sports Diff is truly only for those racing on circuits...95% of the people on this forum have never routinely raced their cars near the limits... i always laugh when i see people necessitated the SD. Not a requirement....and i will debate this one day in day out. Fun toy....but only 5% of drivers can fully utilize that tech.
    1. Find an S4/S5 in the color you want
    2. Find an S4/S5 in the trans you want
    3. Make sure you have the history on the car you want
    4. Make sure your car has the basic options you couldn't live without...most cars have more tech than you can use on a daily basis
    5. Ensure your ride hasn't been trashed, involved in an accident, etc
    6. Ensure that the ride you are looking at makes you feel excited to drive it day in and day out

If you can make sure you've satisfied the above 6 points...you'll be good to go for a couple years.

    Have fun shopping

Seems like a not bad deal, you should be able to get another $1-2K off, also check and make sure there's no major accidents.

The low KM's shouldn't be a concern as long as regular maintenance was done, I bought my 2014 last year and it only had 28,000 KM on it.

Seems overall like a good car. Options are great. Comes with 2 sets of tires and wheels which is a huge plus. Us Audi people say “Wheels” not rims. Lol...anyway I’m in agreement with the others. Talk them down $2-3k. I paid $33,000 for mine and it was a 2014 prestige with 34,000 Miles and still a warranty. Perfect condition. The rock chips aren’t a big issue. The hoods on these cars get raped. Get a clear bra, it helps.

I don't believe an Audi dealer can CPO a car that's had a tune, so (as mentioned above), the reflashing may have been for maintenance updates rather than to remove a tune. The VIN should not reflect TD1 code against the car, or any previous history of TD1.

If the dealer won't budge on the price, ask that they include Audi Care maintenance on it to cover future service visits.

I purchased my car CPO and found out a month later from Audi of Canada that the car was flagged TD1. And I found out the car has an upgraded supercharger pulley and stage 2+ software, that was flashed back to shop during 40,000km service by said dealer
