For those guys that paid for a garage to swap out ure springs onto the oem struts, how much did yall pay for labor?
Been getting quoted around 400-500 but wanted to get second opinions.

Get upgraded struts that are designed for the spring you are installing. Running factory struts with that spring will wear them out very quickly and your ride will become really bouncy. Then you will have to pay the same to install new struts.

I paid about 400 for the install, plus parts and an alignment. Your quotes seem about right.

From my experience with H&R springs on a Passat they require a good sport shock like Koni yellows or Bilstein, I installed with brand new Koni FSD shocks and ride was bouncy from day one, they have strong rebound that needs a good shock to dampen
