So long story short I ordered the b12 kit from AJUSA, the kit is in backorder, I contacted bilstein directly and they keep giving me the run around when it will be available and each time it keeps getting longer and longer possibly June-July. I would love some feedback on other options looking for mostly comfort don’t need to be much lower than 1 inch. Any input would be great, also don’t wanna spend a fortune.

Maybe look at 034's springs. They are 1" drop all of the way around, with a lower spring rate than stock, such that when it combines with the shorter distance such that it nets you about the same ride as stock. Apparently no need for shocks or camber kit, either.

I considered their springs but 034 never responded to the thread on whether we can use B8’s for an improvement.

Anyone have any luck with H&R street coilovers?

My experience with these is that they run very low, even at max height I think you are going to be lower than you stated you're going for in the OP.

Thanks for the info anyone running just the Eibach springs? I heard the springs are different compared to the ones in the b12 kit, any truth to that?

I can vouch for the 034 Dynamic+ Springs. Wayy better ride quality and handling than the stock and probably better than the H&Rs or Eibach. Have the ADS so I have an option to switch the suspension damping settings.
Extremely happy with my decision to stick with it in the long run. Driven almost 12k miles on these - from city to highways to really long drives like Philly to Portland, Maine.

Just to add my .02 cents about Bilstein. I placed an order on Amazon for the PSS10 kit about 3 weeks ago, mind you this is before I found out that the kit I wanted along with the majority of Bilstein’s products are on nationwide backordered. I have been following Bilstein on Instagram for a while now and appreciate their posts. I tagged them in one of their posts kindly asking when will their PSS10’s will start shipping. Never heard anything back, but they immediately deleted my post. I noticed someone else had asked a similar question in a different post and I also tagged Bilstein looking to get some information, again they deleted my post along with the person who had inquired about their backorders.

The heck with Bilstein. If they treat their potential customers like that, I can’t image what the experience would be like if I had to request warranty work. I immediately canceled my order on Amazon.

It’s a bummer Sachs doesn’t make their performance coilovers for our platform. Same can be said about Ohlins.

I ended up going with Vogtland Coilovers the avant version from what I read is better, higher spring in the back. Got a great deal @modbargains and highly recommend them!

Hey doady, how'd your Vogtland coilovers turn out? I've actually been on backorder for the B12s (since February!) to replace my Vogtland coilovers (sedan version). Mine have been clunking all around. Started on the front and now the back. Have been to two shops who tried remounting and replacing strut mounts, pads, etc. with no resolve. Tested a swap on rear struts to stock and noise was gone. I think I just have a bad set, as other reviews on these looked fine.

For those that ordered the B12 suspension from AJUSA and were put on back order, do they charge your card right away or when they ship?

Hey, how are the Dynamic+ when ADS set to comfort/non-aggressive? I don't have ADS, but I'm still looking into these. Sorry to hijack, but this could be useful to OP.

Hey Petrolhead, I backordered mine through AJUSA. They do not charge your card until it ships.
