What do you call these things...

...what do you call the two “structure support bars” that run across the exhaust pipes and end by the spare tire well?

I’ve just put FI 2.5 cat back on the car and these rods do t fit anymore. I knew this would be a challenge but don’t recall what my options are to keep the bars in place so I still have the structure support the car needs.

Any help/ ideas would be appreciated!

I call those things "things I don't have because I have a roof"

You need them for structural integrity. I wouldn't remove them if it was my choice

Have you contacted FI about it? They make no mention on their product page of fitment issues or the need to replace/relocate those braces on the cabby

I'll post a pic of this from my Cab later, but essentially we had to put "spacers" (aka washers) to lower them down a bit to get the CB to fit.

Yeah that’s the route I was expecting to take. Would be great to see a pic.

I think they are called cross bar bracing.

Exactly, call the manufacturer and make it their problem. Please share the answer, I’m curious.
