    Buying a TT-RS - Questions

Hey all, apologies for the thread - been reading + searching as much as possible but still have a few lingering questions as I'm in the process of buying. Any insight would be awesome.

    - The one I've found does not have the front license delete. Does anyone have a picture of what the front bumper looks like if the plate holder is removed?
    - After my test drive it's pretty apparent to me that I'll want to dial in the suspension a bit. Has anyone got experience with the H&R front/rear sway kit in combination with all the 034 goodies and MSS springs?
    - B&O audio system - how is it? I was never ultra impressed with the system in my '15 S4, and not expecting this to be any better. Has anyone gone ham on audio upgrades?
    - Interior without RS Design selection - how is it with or without? I'd much prefer to have it, but I'm impatient and unwilling to wait so I'm buying off a lot. Loved the red stitching, extra leather, and red vents in the one I test drove.

Overall I'm incredibly excited. In the 15 minutes of my test drive it felt about as quick as my dual pulley S4, but with way more control and connection to the driver. Once used to the car I'll probably be going Stage 2 (or turbo upgrade? Only have 91 octane here, not sure if it would be worth it) and start picking on the big boys :) Can't wait!

I can only touch on your last two questions, as mine came with the plate delete and I only have the MSS kit, no sways or other hardware.

    1) B&O: I have a '13 S4 & '18 TTRS with B&O. I notice no difference between the quality of the two. B&O is good, much better than the standard system in my old '12 A5, but not amazing. My opinion.
    2) I love the RS design interior. The red stitching and lining of the seat belt just add a fantastic touch to an already incredible interior. Love seeing the RS mats every time I get in the car, too. I'm not helping you decide against it.

    1. There will be 4 holes to screw in 4 bolt to mount license plate holder. You can remove the holder and cover those holes up with 4 pieces of plastics of these part numbers:
    8S08071559B9 - Upper left
    8S08071569B9 - Upper right
    8S08074499B9 - Lower left
    8S08074509B9 - Lower right

    2. I have H&R lowering springs on stock sway bars. It rides and handles just fine and I don't feel any apparent harshness but I would want to tighten up my suspension setup a bit though I'm on a fence about 034 goodies that whether I even need them for how I drive and use my TTRS. I'm sure MSS springs are good but I doubt they will be a whole lot better than H&R and I don't want to swing $1300 plus labor for springs.

    3. IMO new generation of B&O system in TTRS sounds much better than the one in B8 S4. Some people may want a richer and deeper base but I'm not into heavy base anyway so it works just fine for me. Of course, it sounds way better than stock sound system.

    4. I like everything that comes with RS Design package but it's not a deal breaker for me if my car doesn't have it.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. Deposit placed, should be showing up at dealer within the week before getting put on another truck and coming down to me :)

Last question - has anyone heard anything on the Audi Sport parts that were shown off last year at SEMA? https://media.audiusa.com/en-us/releases/199

No one at any dealership can give me an idea of how to obtain them, pricing, etc. Would love all the carbon exterior bits. Yes, I'm a boy racer at heart.

That actually was not my car but another one just like it. I had made a deal last year with APR to use my car for development in swap for a tune but when the deal morphed from a day trip to Auburn to shipping my car there for a week, I backed out.

Well damn, thought it was yours lol. Needless to say it was amazing looking, and it pretty much sold me on ordering mine.

Natural enough being from Alabama. There are two, or at least were, Nardo TT RS's in Huntsville until the other one got totaled (ouch) down in Hampton Cove. The dealer called me immediately as he though it was me. Tryin to get the Audi Club Deep South Chapter (Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas) back on it's feet and we have a presence on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/audideepsouthchapter/ that you should check every once and awhile even if the Audi club it not your thing.

I'll scope it out, we do a lot of local stuff in Auburn and Opelika. Non Audi stuff mostly think I'm one of a handful, other than the APR guys.
