    Not only is the door chipped down to the bare metal, there is a crease in the door too. Not sure if its best to try and cover it up with a touch-up pen from the dealer (Dr Colorchip doesn't shit to Canada). Or get a quote and fix it properly.

    The paint chip is one thing, but how hard do you have to hit a persons door to crease the door.

    Forgive the rail dust...car is still in winter mode (more snow tomorrow )

    Leaning towards getting it fixed properly, the paint i'm sure i can cover up where only i will know its there.

    The dent in the door will drive me nuts.

    All I can say, I hope it's the passenger door.

    Any imperfections drive me nuts but one's seen daily on the driver's side are far more painful.

    I'd use a dent magician guy. Tough to fix it on the seam, but leave it to a professional.

    Someone did that to me too! chipped to bare metal and a dent the size of a quarter. Paintless dent repair couldn't reach it because it was behind a brace or something. Ended costing me around 800 to get it repaired properly. Calgarians...

    My work office shares are parking lot with a small no name community college...not surprised in the least. No matter how far away i try and park or separate myself...i find someone too close for comfort.

    Get it fixed properly. But, in the interim, go ahead and fill that in with touchup paint to prevent oxidation (rust) of the exposed metal. When you are down to bare metal, corrosion sets in quickly.

    Same issue here but it's at the bottom of my door. Got the car back from the shop sometime last year and noticed it :(

    Getting a quote today, seeing what they can do. My wife's car was keyed BADLY down to the bare metal as well (entire drivers side door), see if i can get a group price haha

    "dont fuck with another man automobile, just dont do it". Wish everyone would live by that rule!

    After something similar with my S5 i was happy that i have a dash cam.. though it has its blind spots and it would be hard to tell who actually did that

    Fill it with spot filler. Let dry. Wipe with paint thinner so that it’s smooth. Now you can touch up or for best results air brush base and clear. You won’t even notice if you air brush.
