    Gents and ladies-

I am running 285/30/20s all around. I want to lower the car on either the KW setup or springs. Whatever I choose, it will lower the car. Most guys are running the 275 setup on that 20 series size and wonder if the extra width will rub at all? I know they won't in the rear, but worried about the front.

Really depends on your wheel width and offset and what exact tire you are looking at as each tire is slightly different dimensions than another. I have 20x10.5et27 with Hankook 285's and KW's and do not rub. I actually sometimes bottom out the car when running the OEM RS5 20's with 275's on our great Ohio highway bridge transitions in some areas (mostly Rt.77 in canton) but the slight bit of extra diameter on the 285's keeps me from bottoming out where the 275s do not. By bottoming out I'm not talking about the tire rubbing, I'm referring to the frame and exhaust clamps dragging on the highway (AWE touring). The other issue you will have is the fronts will poke a bit depending on the rims and tires again, and when lowered this is corrected mostly, however when lowered you only have so much camber tweaking they can do to keep the car within spec. I'm actually out of spec a degree or so on each side but do not remember exactly how much. I do remember its less than 2.
