Brake pads. I've narrowed it down to 2 options

My front rotors and pads need to be replaced for 2013 Audi S5. I am going with the premium carbon rotors from brakeperformance.com and I have narrowed down to 2 choices for pads. Akebono Euro Ceramic or Hawks High Performance Street Brakes. I am leaning towards the Hawks since my car is a daily driver and I never track. Thank you in advance.

I think you will be good either way, to be honest. Both are great pads. Used to use Hawk on my '04 S4 and '09 S5. Switched to Akebono on the '09, and now on my'15 S5. Very similar pads, but I prefer the Akebono due to the consistent braking and low dust. It has been awhile since I used the Hawks, but either is a great choice. I never track the car either, so again, both are great pads.

I use Hawk HPS 5.0s up front and in rear. Low dust, no noise, great stopping power. Would highly recommend. Previously used hawk HPS pads on my last sports sedan and was quite pleased as well. Very suitable for daily driving and spirited drives through winding roads.

I believe the 5.0s are an upgraded version of the HPS pads with better bite and less dust (I researched extensively before installing my RS5 BBK). They feel consistent to me and take much longer to fade compared to OEM, and EBC Redstuff when getting on them hard during fun drives.

Nice choice. Hawk pads deliver good stopping performance and are quiet.
