Hey, I keep no secrets. It's in my signature lol.

No logs, but I can tell you on the 3.0t at least it enables me to run 100oct file with e35 and 104oct file with e50. Corn juice for the win!

This post is heartbreaking. Got us excited since OP was asking about 4.0t.

So...instead of buying 1 kit you buy 2.

Lol, guess it should have been posted in the 4.0tt sub.

There are a few people on here using these on an RS7 afaik. No idea what they gained if anything.

If you have the tune, these will let you push ethanol, regardless of engine.

Not without proof of gains and exploring tuning options. I haven't heard of a tuner who supports an upgraded fuel pump piston on the 4.0t.

APR doesn't support it however as mentioned above it allows you to run ethanol at a much higher content. Fuel trims will adapt.

Sounds dangerous.. I know (with previous cars) after the fuel pump upgrade, you need the tune to balance out the power curve. Without it, you'll have a risk of potentially dangerous power spikes.

Not dangerous at all. Fuel trims can adapt up to 20% on this platform with the Simos ECU.

Autotech HPFP upgrades have been ran by countless users and I don't believe anyone "tunes" for it.

Keep in mind the HPFP upgrade is only generating more pressure in the fuel rail to allow more volume as needed. Ultimately the injectors determine how much fuel is going into the cylinder based off fuel afr, lp and hp pressure sensors as decided by the ECU.

I'm not a countless user unfortunately. After installation on take-off it ran like a dog, misfiring and spluttering. A scan showed rich mixture and misfiring on all cylinders and they had to be removed and even then it took a while for the plugs to recover. My precious tuner said he would be happy to do another tune after I had decided not to bolt any new stuff onto my car for a while, and when I came for the tune to bring a new set of plugs. I know this is an old thread.
