Painted OEM diffuser

Wondering if anyones got picks of their stock diffusers painted? Was thinking of doing a matte black with gloss black accent. I have a phantom black pearl b8.5 with pretty much everything blacked out... will probably wrap my mirrors or go carbon for those at some point. Thoughts? Pics? Tia

I think having the diffuser in a matte black on a black car would make it pick up dirt easily and look dusty from a distance. Just my $0.02. Post pics if/when you get it done. Aftermarket diffuser prices are laughable.

Appreciate the thoughts, that could look pretty sweet too. I'm having my bumper repaired so could have it painted body color/gloss black and leave the chrome. Not 100% what to do so hopefully some people have pics

i plasti-dipped mine. it looks alright. i agree though, id leave the aluminum accent. ill probably take it off this summer and get it painted gloss black.

I think this a$$ end looks awesome! Leaving the chrome strip adds just enough detail IMHO. I'm not a fan of an entirely blacked out car either but this is done perfect

Not very hard, just awkward doing it by yourself. Def would be easier if you had someone hold the trim while you applied the vinyl. That skinny black trim in the middle comes off also...take that off, lay the vinyl, and put that black trim piece back on.

I have Black Phantom as well and have been thinking about wrapping my in satin black. IMO and as stated before I think leaving the silver trim piece and the mirrors would add a good contrast on your ride.

It's all personal preference. Seems so out of context with 2 badges on the tail end stating the guy's got 30!.

Well rainy and crappy when I picked the car up today so not the best pics but yeah I'm happy with how it came out! Glad I left the trim unpainted and I'll leave the mirrors for some contrast. I ended up going body color for the diffuser. Thanks for the input gentleman I appreciate it.

you wrapped it? I asked my buddy who owns a shop if he can wrap mine he said not a good idea as it will lift due to the rougher surface.
