possible to get sport exhaust as stand alone in USA?

    Hi,

I'm seriously considering selling my beloved manwagon and getting an RS3 in Daytona gray with standard silver wheels and black calipers. I personally think the all silver blades looks sharp with the Daytona color, but more importantly, I don't care for the red calipers with that color.

My dilemma is that I want the sports exhaust but it's not a stand alone option in the US like it is elsewhere in the world (Why does Audi hate the us?) Has anyone bothered to see if the dealer can do a special order for something like that? I'm not ready to order, so I haven't discussed with any Audi sales folk yet. (waiting for the 2019 models to see if they possibly will change the options/wheel selection)

If not, my plan was to just order the non sport and wait for AWE to come out with theirs. Maybe that's a better idea since I've been reading about the OEM rattles and black finish coming of.? I don't know, the sport exhaust sounds awesome from all the youtube videos out there.

    thanks

The stock exhaust actually sounds pretty good as well, and it still have valves, it's just a bit quieter. From what we have been able to determine here the only difference is the actual muffler, and the tips of course.

I am sure at some point it would be available as a part, but since this is a newer production car, that may take a while. With that said, it will most likely be half the price of the dynamic package price by it's self, or maybe more. At that point you might as well go after-market and spend $2-5K on an exhaust.

The AWE will probably price close to the Miltek at around $2500...so given your exhaust valves will make noise you have to ask yourself whats the point.

Knowing what I know now, while it's an awesome sounding exhaust, if it wasn't bundled I would've waited.
2017 RS3 | Xpel in the front & Feynlabs all around | WINCOS IR 30% F and 20% R | 245/35-19 Pirelli Sottozero Serie II for winters | I'm not modding this super amazing car so I'm going to list stupid $hit like RS3 All season mats and Blendmount for Escort Max
