Hey guys, I have a stock 2013 A5 Prestige that has about 4k miles left on the CPO. I've only owned it for about a year and a half but in that time it's been in the shop way more than I'd like for that amount of time. When I bought it, the carfax said it was clean (suspiciously devoid of info).

The major problem was that a fuel injector died when I was 60 miles away from home. It had to be towed to a dealership and took me all day to get home. This was about a week after it had been in another dealership for about 5 random little things (water in the taillight, lane change sensor not working properly, broken visor clip, squeaky brakes, and other things I can't remember).

It's currently in the shop again, granted it's not the car's fault, but some jackass smashed the passenger window so that's getting replaced and the door panel painted. It also needs the recall heater thing replaced.

So with all this and the CPO warranty running out, I'm wondering if I'm better off getting something else. I posed this question to the service adviser and he immediately said YES. Another service adviser said if one injector fails, it's likely others will fail (is this true?). Also, is the extended warranty worth getting? TIA!
