Just like the title says, my 2018 Q5 transmission is terrible - or the collective of the not quattro-transmission-traction is terrible. Every time I make a turn and get on the gas traction control kicks in and it cuts power, almost to the point where it becomes dangerous. Anyone else have this issue with the new Q5s? Is it "normal"?

I had this issue with my winter beater, and yeah it's fcking dangerous.
Once, a bus was comming in my direction, and the traction control kicks in, and it cut the fuel around @20%. with a huge lag, I had to put the car to LOW, to gain traction. The bus avoid me by stoping in the snowbank.
I was so pissed.
Of course, it was new to me, I didnt adapt myself to the new car, but at the end, it shouldnt be like that at all !
On my audi A4 , I can remove the traction control , and even if I leave it, it's not intrusive at all.
I guess you can reprogram with a vag-com or obdeleven, since my body reprogrammed his 2018 golf sportwagen 4 motion to be able to put traction -OFF, I guess something like that could be possible on a 2018 q5?
