    Jerk when reversing in uphill direction

    Hi everyone,

    I have a 2007 Audi A4 FWD with CVT transmission. Started to see an issue.

    When I try to go reverse in uphill direction, I feel some jerks . On flat ground, reverse is fine. Car runs fine in drive mode with no issue. Transmission oil was changed 20,000 miles ago. The car has 170,000 miles on it.

    Tried to search online but no conclusive answers are available. Please help

    You have a CVT with 170,000 Miles I would say your transmission and is starting to show signs of failure

    May be you are right. But car runs
    completely fine. Only jerks when reversing uphill.
