Purchased from someone here to swap into my 2012 B8 but never got it to work correctly with the car but the unit does function correctly on the B8.5 car and will work on a B8 as well if you have a dealership that is willing to help you out, in my case they did not. Asking $350, free shipping in the US for the whole swap.

You will need the antenna for cellular data to work on mmi and take the component protection off. That's all. I did the swap my self.

Yup still available. Also for cellular data only T-Mobile works if you want to do that and it only enabled Google maps and google earth i think.

You don't need to swap the LCD display for a b8>b8.5 swap? these are the only parts you need?

If you have the stock MMI 3G yes it should be as long as you have the B&O sound system.
