So a few weeks ago, forum member Alexberlin was about to pull the trigger on new headlights for $700+. His lights were getting condensation on the inside and the lenses were pitted and yellowed. Seeing that new lenses only cost about $100, I suggested he swap the lenses and do the clear corner mod while he was In there. He had also bought new fog light housings and a brand new grill to top it all off. Not having even taken the bumper off before, he was apprehensive on tackling the job himself. After a few messages and a couple weeks later, me and the wife took a little road trip to see him and get his absolutely gorgeous S4 back in shape.
250 miles later, 2 rest stops, 2 energy drinks and the most amazing traffic speeds ever

After 4 hours of driving, 3 accidents, a couple triple digit sections of the craziest traffic I have ever seen, haha, we arrive.

After a bit of talking and getting to know each other, we started removing the bumper and got the headlights out.

I pulled the housings apart with a heat gun and swapped out the amber corner markers for clear and removed the old adhesive from the housings. After heating the new adhesive up, I pressed them together and popped the retaining clips back on.

We swapped his grill out for his brand new shiny one and installed one new fog light housing (he received a bad one and was sending it back)
We didn't even have the car done yet and already someone stopped and gave him props for his newly touched up front end

Alex is planning on getting the front resprayed and dialed in to finish the car up. He keeps his car very clean inside and out with details to perfection. He is one of the nicest people I have met and I wanted to thank him for letting me help him out!
