I bought this a couple years ago and have used it without issue since. Selling my car, so this needs to find a new home.
The VCDS cable is genuine Ross-Tech and was the last cable that allowed coding of unlimited VINs (the new models are currently locked to 3 and 10 VINs each).
The mini PC is a Gateway. It's getting pretty old now so it's slow for normal computer usage, but VCDS works well on it. The battery only holds a charge for about 45 minutes, so I tend to keep it plugged in while using it. I'm not willing to separate the PC. Consider it a purchase of a Vagcom cable with a free PC, mouse, and carrying case.
