Just buy a Torqbyte PM3 and be done with it. It’ll cost the same amount, and you’ll actually be able to find one. The OEM RS4 unit has been discontinued for years and they’re as rare as extra virgin unicorn piss.

I’ve been looking into that, I’ll be running a revised stage 3 JHM tune with an upgraded lpfp. I don’t know how the PM3 works, will it just do what the JHM tune requests?

It will. It’s dead simple to setup really. Buy the plug and play adaptor, hook everything up, open Torqtune, and follow the instructions to allow the ECU to control the pump. The PM3 simply provides the power output the pump requires without taxing the OEM LPFP controller.

Mine looks a little more complicated because I’m running the PM3 in slave to the CM5-LT. But it really is simple.

Very good to know, I will most likely go this route since I’ll prolly never find an RS4 controller

It’s a good way to go. They were helpful on the install in the race car as well. I’m the reason they have a plug and play harness for the B7 now as well. I bought the original PNP harness but it does t work with our pump top. Then went to Audi and bough the parts needed and fabricated my own with their guidance.

    GREAT GUYS!
