Anyone blow their cats out? I have a CEL and I can hear and smell an exhaust leak.
This DP setup must be creating some serious heat.

The only blown-out cats I've heard about are with the Ultracharger.
Did you upgrade the intercooling system? If not, and you're DP, shame on you.

The heat I was referring to was the EGT's not the IAT's
Looks as if this is normal for this platform after researching the S4's
Time to remove these cats for some straight pipes.

Alternatives like new cats are $$$ but hey, you won't burn out another set.
Downside is the stinky exhaust. I've had a number of cars without cats and that gets old.
