First time brake change for my 2014 S6

I will be changing the front brake pads and rotors on my 2014 S6 but I am unable to find the specific torque specs that I need to set everything back to. Is there any post that has a good step by step guide for that change?

This post is from audiword for a C7 A6. It has the torque specs for everything brake related in the post. Can't imagine they would be different for the S6.

On a sine note, the pads and rotors where changed but for some reason after I was able to to do the breaking procedure my rotors are still rubbing against the pads when driving. Also one rots makes a hard clicking noise when i do heavy braking.

It seems you've already finished the job, but posting this AW link for a nice HOW-TO write up for others searching more recent posts on the subject.

It is still making that noise after months of driving it. It happens when I speed up fast and then break for about 10 seconds or turn the wheel to the right. I will be taking another look into the rotors and pads.

Sounds like the same problem I have. See my recent post about my brake change.

Whose rotors and pads did you go with?

I cant remember what pads I have but I am sending the messed up ones soon since I did not have the car for a month due to it being rear ended and also been super busy. Funny thing today I got hit and the person ran, luckily it was on the wheel where most damage is and a few scratches on the body. Now I need to find good enough used wheels to use while I send the others to get fixed.

How did the caliper pins look? Did you clean and regrease the pins? I had the outer front right side pads not releasing completely and wound up replacing the pins on my A7. Pins had just the slightest buggered marks on them. I had ruled everything else out and had even cleaned them and emery clothed them to take some funk off after cleaning. Wound up putting new pins in and no worries after that.

The rotor was warped from one side and the sounds started after heavy braking or once it heated up. I checked the rotors today and I could feel the warped part.
