    opinion on Advans

Okay I know this has been asked before but just wanted some opinions on some Advan RZ's. I got my eye on a set that is 18x8 and the offset is 47mm. However, the bolt pattern is 5x100. I'm wondering If I use some 15mm adapters, you guys think it would look good? So ultimately the offset would be 32mm, if i'm doing this correctly.

    Thanks

Started a thread to ask if wheels would look good? You know what the wheels look like, and you know what your car looks like. I think you can handle this one.

I think the question is more geared towards the offset/spacer combo.

To answer your question, an 18x8 +47 with a 15mm spacer/adapter will give a final offset of 32. That will sit just inside the fenders. I’ll let you handle the looks part.

Wheels look fine (thanks for the pics, they loaded great), but why not get a different brand that looks exactly the same with the correct bolt pattern and offset?

yes, exactly. Thank you that's what I wanted to confirm. Just wanted to make sure and get a little bit of a better idea of the stance.

    cheers!

Sorry no pics, just looking around and came across this set. I'm still looking and might go with another option. Thanks anyway.

Used I'm guessing? Get new for cheap wheels, unless you're getting used original equipment Audi wheels.. those are acceptable used. I find that aftermarket wheels are often bent, and are more pain than they are worth, unless they were free and you refinish wheels for a living.

I hear you, actually went and took a look at the wheels one has a bend. Seller said not a problem, but not worth dealing with it. I appreciate the advice.
