Swapped from black to orange G247. Issues. Can Maestro make it work?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I swapped to the orange one because I have a 175bar PRV. And the black G247 can only read up to 140 bar. The orange one can read 200 bar.

But when I swapped it, obviously there was some errors but I didn't expect there to be drivability issues.

Is there a way to make Maestro work with it?

Might have to swap back to the black version...

Bump. I've swapped back to the black version and all is well again.

But is there anyway to make the orange version work?

Would I need a new ECU and immo off it? Or is the stock wiring harness just not compatible?

Does the harness maybe have to be re-pinned?
Do you have something that tells you which pin on the sensor is for what? Signal, reference voltage, ground, etc.?

Odd. Just looked it up. The black one reads up to 140 bar and is used on the 3.2l motor. The orange one is used on the 2.0t. Pinning is the same for both. Did you get a bad sensor?

So they way I understand is that there is a VIN split for early and late 2.0T engines. I have a 2006 car so I have the early one. The early car used the black sensor.

If you see the fitment, it's for 2007 and up. I'm trying to figure out why it doesn't work on the early ones and if I can get it to work.

I'm not sure if it's something that can be tuned to make work or of there is an ECU swap I need to do or even if the wiring is different.

That must be a programming issue since I confirmed the wiring from a 2006 to 2008 to be the same pinning at the connector and the ECU.

    Hmm. Thanks Bro.

I messaged Eurodyne and I'm waiting for a response if this is something they can sort on their end. But I'm not hopeful on a response.

You know Eurodyne customer support is the best /s

It might be a hidden setting in one of the maps they can change.
